Kianjuki in Embu is a city in Kenya about 75 mi (or 121 km) north-east of Nairobi, the country's capital city.
Coffee cherries are picked by hand and transported to the wet mill. From there, they are cleaned and sorted in water drawn from a nearby river, then filtered and cleaned before being returned.
The cherries are then spread out on natural drying racks in the sun, before being transferred to a dry mill prior to being shipped to Nairobi for export..
This is a great example of a washed Kenyan coffee. Apricots, intense berry flavours, complex.
